Hi,
we're happy you're here.
Online therapy for adults across the UK, with two HCPC registered Clinical Psychologists based in London.
About us
Two Clinical Psychologists, one shared practice
We are Jacquelyn and Ceyla - two Clinical Psychologists, longtime friends, and the people behind this practice.
We met during clinical doctorate training, and have remained close ever since. We started Bluecove as we wanted to offer something we both care deeply about: thoughtful, personalised, evidence-based psychological support.
We work with our clients individually and separately. We also often collaborate and work together to offer workshops, consulting and group-based learning.
If you'd like to know more about working with either of us individually, you can read more on our separate profiles below.
Dr Jacquelyn Yang
I am a HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist with a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from UCL, and also a BABCP accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist. I have worked in the field of mental health for 10 years - in academia, the NHS, and third sector organisations. I have worked with adults and young people from a wide range of backgrounds, particularly those who have experienced marginalisation, and I am committed to making therapy feel safe, compassionate and inclusive. I specialise in trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, and identity or adjustment-related difficulties.

Dr Ceyla Karamanci
I am a HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist with a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from UCL. I also completed a PhD in Cognitive Psychology at Koç University and a master's degree in Clinical Social Work at Washington University in St Louis. My training across countries and settings gives me a broad, internationally informed perspective. I currently work with adults who feel stuck, are navigating change, or want space to reflect with greater clarity. My style is warm, thoughtful and collaborative, and I aim to offer a grounded space to pause and consider meaningful next steps aligned with one's values.

How we work
What our sessions will look like
We offer both short-term, focused therapy and longer-term work. The length and pace of our therapeutic work together will be guided by your goals, needs, and what feels right for you.
Some people come with a specific difficulty they would like to address; others are looking for a longer-term space to explore more longstanding patterns or difficulties. We will work together with you to find an approach that fits.
All sessions take place online via Zoom and are 50 minutes long.
In our first appointment, we will explore what brought you to therapy, what you're hoping for, and whether we are a good fit. If we feel that a different type of support would serve you better, we will discuss this with you.
Therapy sessions usually take place weekly or fortnightly, depending on your needs or circumstances and what works best for you. We hope to create a space that feels safe, thoughtful and reflective.

Are we the right fit?
Are we the right fit?
Finding the right therapist matters. Part of that is being honest about who we work best with, so that you can find the support that is truly right for you. We may not be the right fit if you are currently:
- Experiencing thoughts of harming yourself or others, or suicidal thoughts
- Actively self-harming, or finding it difficult to keep yourself safe
- In crisis, or have concerns about your immediate safety
- Pregnant, or within the first year after giving birth
- Having significant difficulty taking care of yourself or getting out of bed
- Struggling with an eating disorder
- Using substances in a way that is significantly affecting your daily life or wellbeing
- Looking for a formal psychological assessment, report, or letter for use in legal proceedings, court, or educational settings such as an EHCP
These are areas where you deserve a level of specialist support that goes beyond what we are best placed to offer in a private online setting. If any of the above applies, we would encourage you to speak to your GP, who can help refer you to the most appropriate service.
We are committed to being honest about whether we are the right fit, both before therapy begins and as our work progresses. Sometimes we may feel that a different type of support would serve you better. If that is ever the case, we will discuss this with you.
